More than 40percent of second year students at junior high school in Tokyo do not study outside schools at all. It means that traditional system of school education does not function well today. Therefore curricula and methods of teaching need a radical change. But the spontaneous motivation for study of the children must be nourished at the same time. Children have various kinds of motivation and goals in their class. So school teachers should incline their hearts to be aware of the motive or the goal of the child's behavior all the time. In order to cultivate the spontaneous motivation for study, a high degree of courage and social interest of the children is needed. Adlerian Psychology would probably offer us the most consistent theory of social interest. When this social interest is deficient, the child's interest is too self-centered, and he could not find any positive meaning of study. He has enough energy and courage to study only when he admits himself that he can contribute to the lives of others through his study. We must consider the value of an increase in social interest during the process of education.}, pages = {87--95}, title = {学習離れの教育的意味}, volume = {50}, year = {2003}, yomi = {フルショウ, タカシ} }
