This paper describe 1) the development of web-based education and e-learning, 2) background of e-leaming and distance education in US University, 3) current tendency of e-learning in Japan and 4) introduction of e-leaming into Kobe College, at first. Then, three educational practices of e-leaming used blackboard system are reported and examined by the results including questionnaire survey. These results suggested that the planning the e-learning at Kobe College should be based on the expanded concept of e-learning and make possible to easily develop and use by individual according their own information technology level.
