These knockout cells showed similar proliferation activity as the wild-type K562 cells in the in vitro culture assays. Gene Ontology (GO) enrichment analysis using RNA sequencing revealed that SATB1-deletion changed expression of genes associated with “Molecular Function” category of GO. KEGG pathway enrichment analysis showed that SATB1-deletion significantly changed expression of genes associated with “Hematopoietic cell lineage” pathway. These results suggest that SATB1 plays important roles in hematopoietic cell
