First, I classify theoretical positions according to binary logic and point out the theoretical affinity between realism and paternalism. Second, considering realism as knowledge of power in the Westphalia System, I problematize the vested interest of realism in maintaining the Westphalia System. Third, I describe the historical lineage of the trinity of Westphalia System, patriarchy and the modern family to make clear the causes of masculinized international politics. Fourth, I illustrate the stereotyped image of women as an object of patriarchal power in the Westphalia System.
