@article{oai:kobe-c.repo.nii.ac.jp:00002289, author = {小松, 秀雄 and KOMATSU, Hideo}, journal = {女性学評論, Women's studies forum}, month = {Mar}, note = {P(論文), In Western nations and Japan, the population of the elderly has been increasing very rapidly, and on the other hand.the population of children has been gradually decreasing.The percentage og the aged population has amounted to about a fifth of the whole.Consequenly, ageism has become an object of public concern.Ageism is listed as the fourth or fifth discrimination, following the other forms of discrimination such as racial and sexual discrimination.Older persons are often made a fool of and looked down upon for being"sirty, incapable, poor, or oll"by young people and non-older persoms.These public issues, which fall under ageism, have been studied since the nineteen sixries in the United States of America.Students of ageism have maintained that not only ageism but also sexual discrimination have been produced and reproduced by capitalist economy and by the value system based on "achievement"in moderm society.This paper examines in the first place the history of theories of ageism in America in terms of sociology.Secondly, the ralation between ageism and modermization in postwar Japan is investigated through comparative sociology and with theories of ageism.Ageism sexual discrimination in Japan will be compared with that in America.Finally I intend to discuss the future of the world without such forms of discrimination as ageism and sexism, hoping that we will aim for "successful sging."}, pages = {23--42}, title = {現代社会におけるエイジズムとジェンダー(<特集>楽しく老いる)}, volume = {16}, year = {2002}, yomi = {コマツ, ヒデオ} }
