C.フィルモア 『音楽史教程』(1888頃)とアメリカ製が多い。\nプロテスタントの女子教育と音楽教育において、「音楽は感情の自然な伝達の手段」(L.H.ピアソン、1883)とされ、日々の生活の中で人を支える存在としての音楽が目指された。その好例を小倉末子が弾いたL.M.ゴットシャルクの<The Last Hope>に見ることができる。ヴォーリズ建築の駒井邸(1927)の居間に据え付けられたピアノで、静江も日々そのような音楽を奏でていたと考えられる。","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_description_49":{"attribute_name":"要旨(英)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"KOMAI-AONO Shizue (1890-1973) studied at Kobe College from 1907-1914, following her elder sister Mitsue (1887-1970), who was enrolled in the same college from 1905-1913. Their school mates included the pianist OGURA Suye (1891-1944) and Mrs. Vories or HITOTSUYANAGI Makiko (1884-1969). The main sources for this discussion are the 'Students' Academic Records, 1903-1911', and the 'Music Department Students' Lesson Records, 1907-1923', Although the Aono sisters were students of the General Course and not of the Music Department, they earned good credits in 'Singing' and in 'Instrumental Music' . One later essay written by Shizue tells us that she resumed her piano lessons thorough the generosity of her music teacher, Miss F. Guppy. Judging from her career as a teacher of music as well as of English at Hinomoto Jogakkou and Kobe College, she must have acquired enough skill and knowledge in music in her college years.\nMany American textbooks were used in music education at Kobe College, for example, A. Spengler's System of Technic of Pianoforte, ca. 1887, Wagner's Musikdramas arranged for a piano by Otto Singer Jr., G. C. Gow's The Structure of Music, ca. 1895, and J. C. Fillmore's Lessons in Musical History, ca. 1888.\nThe purpose of women's education and music education by Protestant missionaries was formulated as 'The emotions of her soul must find utterance in the universal language of God's living creature, Music' (L. H. Pierson, 1883). L. M.
