Since it could be considered an introduction to the book, the relationship between Yeats and Pound no doubt played a significant role in the writing of the book. The chapter itself consists of the three essays \"Rapallo,\" \"Introduction to 'A Vision',\" and \"To Ezra Pound.\" Rapallo is the name of a town in Italy, and is one of the places where Yeats and Pound worked together, so the essay may give some clues about the nature of their relationship. The book as a whole is difficult to understand, and this essay is also complicated. Although the book has already been translated into Japanese by SHIMAZU Akio (1978) and SUZUKI Hiroshi (1988), I am now translating the chapter \"A Packet for Ezra Pound\" adding my own notes that refer to recent studies and new information.
