However, these prices are expensive and schoolteachers cannot often purchase them at public expense. Nakagawa has already proposed the alternative kits for well plates: the handmade well plates which are composed of plastic bottle caps and white cardboard containers. Unfortunately, several disadvantages of the former handmade well plates have been found in doing microscale experiments. Therefore, besides “Cut” along solid lines, the new explanation “Valley-Fold” is added along dashed lines and the number ij, which means the position with the i-th raw and the j-th column, represents at the top of the corresponding square in a container. In this paper, the advantages of the revised handmade well plates for microscale experiments, the application of these plates to various chemical reactions and their validity for remote classes are discussed.
