| 内容記述 | Husband's violence has been often neglected in society,b ecause it is done in such ac losed space as home. Even in 1995,as many wives as 143 were killed by their husbands in Japan. To cope with the situation,it is fundamental to form ap ublic opinion to support equality between sexes,establishment of peace and women's rights. And this has been getting a global understanding since the International Women's Year. Also necessary is that the national and local governments shouldprovide place and means to protect the women from their violent husbands and to live on their own. Fortunately,the governments have gradually started to set up such accomodations for those who need help. I hope my report may awake the individual reader's interest in the problemso far so unnoticed. | |||||
