| 内容記述 | Questing for an alternative methodology is one of today's challenges for the traditional and mainstream psychology. An introductory level of psychology education in colleges has historically focused on rigorous research methods including traditional psychophysics experiments and statistics. Psychology students typically acquire the attitudes of a 'value-free-scientist' through college courses emphasizing the aspects of 'scientificness' and 'objectivity' in research. In this short essay, author describes how feminism has influenced psychology showing the three ways of constructions on her own research data, and suggests how the research results can contribute to a social change. The importance of acknowledging her/his own standpoint as a psychologist is also discussed. | |||||
