| 内容記述 | This paper discusses household code of behavior in the New Testament,especially in regard to rules for husband and wife which appear in writingswritten in the late age. The first household code of behavior for men andwomen in the New Testament is in Colossians,which was written in about 70C.E. Those rules were not Jewish or Christian,but Hellenistic in origin. Afterthat,through in Ephesians,I Peter,I Timothy,the code of behavior becamegradually Christianized under particular circumstances of each church as aresult of such cultural interaction, authentic Christian ethics was established.Concerning that process,a Greek word (to attend or serve) exercised a great influence. means "under～"so it separates human society into those who are superior and inferior. The above four writingsregard husbands/men as superior and wives/women as inferior. In addition,inI Timothy,the rules cover not only the relationships of married couples butalso the staff organization of the First Century Church. | |||||
