| 内容記述 | 「デイジー～3.11女子高生たちの選択～」（漫画：ももち麗子、原作：小林照弘、草薙だらい、信田朋嗣）は講談社の少女マンガ誌『デザート』に連載された作品である。本作品は原発事故後の福島の高校に通う４人の高校3年生の卒業までの1年を描いている。「デイジー」が他の原発事故を題材にした作品と異なり評価できる点は2点ある。第1に本作品は架空の人物が登場するフィクションだが、作者が福島の学生などに取材した内容に基づいて構成していること、第2に少女の日常生活に及ぶ事故の影響を、少女マンガの最大の特徴である登場人物の細やかな心の動きを用いて描いていることであり、それゆえ本稿では本作品を分析の対象とした。 困難な局面において主人公たちが進路決定、職業選択を行う経緯を、地域社会をどう意識しているか、事故前と比べて地域社会との結びつきが強化されているかという視点から分析した。その結果、いずれの登場人物も「福島のために」貢献したいという動機を持って進路選択をしていること、事故前と比べて明らかに地域への意識が高まっていることが明らかになった。登場人物たちは一見、自らの意思で職業選択を行い、メディアで表象されてきた旧来のジェンダー像とは異なった主体的な生き方が描かれているようにも見える。一方で、モラトリアムの時期を持たずに地域のための働き手として、大人としての役割を期待されているとも捉えることができる。 家庭とは、子どもにとっていつでも見守られていて、外の世界で危険があれば帰ることができる「安全基地」であるという。それは家庭だけでなく、地域と人間においても同様のことが言えるのではないか。原発事故によって「安全基地」の揺らいでいる状況が、少女の地域社会への結びつきを精神的にも、肉体的な身の置き所としてもより強めていると指摘できる。 |

| 内容記述 | Daisy: High School Girls' Choices after March 11 (Manga: Momochi Reiko: original: Kobayashi Teruhiro, Kusanagi Darai, and Nobuta Tomoji) is a series that appeared in the shojo-manga magazine Dessert (Kodansha Ltd.). It depicts four high school seniors attending school in Fukushima over a one-year period after the power plant accident. Two aspects differentiate Daisy from other works dealing with the accident and make it suitable for analysis. First, although it is a work of fiction, the content is based on actual interviews of students in Fukushima. Second, the impacts of the accident on the characters' lives are depicted through subtle changes in the characters' emotional states, which is a hallmark of shojo-manga. The manga was analyzed from the standpoint of the characters' views of the local community in the context of choosing life courses and careers, and whether the characters' connections ti the local community strengthened or weakened after the accident. All characters chose life paths motivated by the desire to "help Fukushima" and had greater interest in their communities after the accident. On the one hand, the characters are depicted as proactively choosing career paths and life styles that differ from gender stereotypes. On the other hand, this may also be interpreted as an expectation that the characters move quickly into their roles as adults to better their community without the usual moratorium. Families function as secure bases to protect children at all times, and to which children can return when they encounter dangers in the outside world. Perhaps the same can be said of communities and people as a whole, In a context where secure bases have been shaken by the accident, it appears young girls' ties to local communities as settles in both emotionally and physically have strengthened. |
