| 内容記述 | 本稿では、性別における「平等」主義を期待されている学校という場の日々の営みを、ジェンダーという批評的な概念を差し込むことにより再検討することを試みた。その結果、学校の現場には教師-生徒関係や教師自身の態度といった微視的な日常実践によって伝達される「隠れたカリキュラム」が、ジェンダーという指標においても機能していることが明らかとなった。注目を集めることで与えられる発言の機会、あるいは身体の動きや教室運営において、さらには男女別名簿をめぐっても、性別カテゴリーは多用される。そのつど繰り返し参照される男/女のカテゴリー区別は、単なる差異を超え、それぞれのジェンダーを印づけられた主体に振り分けられる学習機会や将来の進路決定の機会に深く影響し、やがては物質的にジェンダー化された身体をもつ存在を生産していくことが明らかとなった。 学校文化の「隠れたカリキュラム」において機能するジェンダーは、単なる差異ではなく差別として機能する。その複雑な抑圧構造を明らかにしたうえで、実際の教育現場で実践されている「ジェンダーに配慮したカリキュラム」の、さまざまな取り組みについて分析した。分析の結果改めて問われるのは、ジェンダーという批評性をもった観点から公教育をどう構想しなおすのかという課題である。学習内容を社会関係の中に位置づけること、教育実践の中に内包される権力関係にセンシティヴであること、そうした学習者自身の自己変容を促していくような方法論。おそらくこうした課題に応答する実践とは、いつか「確立」されるものではなく、むしろ絶え間ない問い返しとともに模索が継続されていく未完のプロジェクトとなるはずではないかと結論づけた。 |

| 内容記述 | This paper reexamines, through the lens of gender criticism, the daily workings of schools in which egalitarianism in gender is expected. Results show that the "hidden curriculum," communicated through subtle, everyday actions in the school environment such as in relationships between teachers and students and in teachers' attitudes themselves, can be observed in school settings. The "hidden curriculum" functions within the "gender" framework. For example, gender roles are frequently invoked in statements intended to attract attention, in body language, in classroom management, and even in gender differentiation in the register of names. The categories of man and woman, which are repeatedly referenced in general, transcend simple differentiation. It was apparent that such gender categories profoundly influence one's learning opportunities and opportunities related to future life choices, both of which are divided and determined according to the difference in gender. Furthermore, it has become apparent that this practice will produce gendered body in everyday life. Gender is still an integral part of the hidden curriculum of school culture. Yet, gender functions not simply to differentiate but to discriminate. After elucidating these complex oppressive structures, this study analyzed various initiatives toward "gender-sensitive categories" implemented in actual education should be reconceptualized from the perspective of gender criticism. The methodology of this gender criticism includes considering the subjects of study in relation to society; cultivating sensitivity to the power relationships students themselves. The study concludes that countermeasures against such issues should not be simply regarded as plans that are for future consideration, but rather an unfinished project that continues to seek solutions and never stops asking questions. |
