内容記述 This paper reports on the relationship of the musical activities in Osaka of the pianist OGURA Suye(1891-1944) and the early movements of women's associations in Kansai district in Taisho JAPAN. Ogura played piano every year from 1919 to 1923 on the stage of the Osaka City Hall in Nakanoshima, which was opened in November 1918, on the following occasions: 1) July 9^<th>,1919,`Grand Concert', hosted by `Gakuyu-kai'and by `Piano Club' with female members of Osaka's upper classes. 2) October 25^<th>, 1920, a stage in the second annual meeting of Kansai Fujin-kai Rengou(KFR), Association of Female Organizations in Kasai District. 3) July 2^<nd>, 1921, a stage in the concert tour of Tokyo School of Music, where she was teaching. 4) October 2^<nd>, 1921, a stage in the `Osaka Female Concert', organized by Kitaku Jo-kyoin Kai(KJK), Female Teachers Assembly of the North-ward of Osaka City. 5) October22^<nd>, 1922, a stage in the fourth annual meeting of KFR. 6) November 11^<th>1923, solo charity recital for Futon fund for sufferers of the Great Kanto Earthquake, hosted by Zen-kansai Fujin Rengo-kai(ZKFR), All Western Japan Association of Women's Organizations as developed from KFR. Printed programs of 2) and 5) were newly found in the paper collection of YAMAOKA Haru in Kishiwada city, who was the chair of the preparation meeting of KFR in 1919(YAMAOKA Haru Collection Catalogue Nos.C-1-18&44).The Piano Club, which appears in 1), is listed in `the attendants list for the preparation meeting of KFR in 1919' (no.C-1-3) and KJK in 4) is listed in one of 1921(no.C-1-21). As a result, it has become clear that five of the above mentioned six concerts with OGURA were related to the early movements of women's associations in Taisho Osaka. In addition, the journal of ZKFR, Fujin, published from 1924, containing many articles on female pianists of the time, seems to present female pianists as models of `new woman' of Taisho JAPAN.
