| 内容記述 | This paper is a brief report on my study tour to the Trauma Center in Brookline Massachusetts, which provides innovative trauma therapy for clients who have experienced complex trauma. We learned about mechanisms of the brain and PTSD through a lecture by Bessel A. van der Kolk, and also learned about the ARC Framework: Attachment, Self-Regulation, and Competency, which is a component-based intervention model for complex childhood trauma. We visited two facilities for trauma specific residential services that have successfully adapted the ARC framework for their daily program under the supervision of the Trauma Center. The Trauma Center's experiences suggest that we have to know about the total mechanism of trauma and develop an inclusive framework for practical interventions for both caretakers and children to provide an integrative and effective treatment for complex childhood trauma. | |||||
