| 内容記述 | ピアニスト小倉末子研究の一環として、『朝日新聞』における報道記事の全体像を明らかにすると共に、朝日新聞記事データベース『聞蔵Ⅱビジュアル』の孕む問題点を指摘した。朝日新聞には最終的に総数148点の小倉末子関連記事が見出されたが、『聞蔵Ⅱビジュアル』のキーワード検索（キーワードは「小倉末子」「小倉末」「小倉」「音楽」）では81点しか見出すことができず、総数の６割にも満たない。その原因は、1）大阪版の扱い、2）キーワード採取のむら、3）ラジオ面の扱いにあり、これらが音楽家ないし音楽研究における「聞蔵」の利用価値を大きく損なっていることを具体的に示した。小倉の報道記事の大半は演奏会の予告と報告であり、時に演奏批評を含む。帰朝から任命、転居や叙勲、訃報に至る個人の動向を報じる記事も継続的に見られ、インタビュー記事も興味深い。ラジオ出演記事はそのほとんどに写真が添えられて、小倉出演の報道価値の高さを裏打ちする。1917年1月に連載された「人生の春～現代花形づくし」シリーズ（全８回）の第３回として、中條百合子、芥川龍之介に続いて取り上げられているのは特筆に値する。「（表1）朝日新聞に見る小倉末子記事数（検索対象別）」と「（表2）同（年別）」を添え、末尾に「朝日新聞の記事一覧（目次）」を付した。小倉末子に関する報道は1916年の帰国から関東大震災のあった1923年までがピークをなし、その後は散発的になるものの晩年に至るまで息長く続いていった。特に小倉のラジオ出演は紙面でも写真入りで大きく扱われている。1919年から1923年にかけての大阪版での報道は突出して数が多い。大阪朝日新聞社が大正期に積極的に後押しした女性のエンパワーメントにおいて、ピアニスト小倉末子はその流れに貢献すると同時に自身も大きな場と力を得ていたことが改めて確認された。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | This paper makes clear the overall picture of articles on Pianist Suye Ogura (1891-1944) in the Asahi Shinbun during her lifetime on the one hand, and problems with the Asahi Shinbun Database 'Kikuzo Ⅱ Visual' for musician research on the other. Of the 148 articles on Suye Ogura in the Asahi Shimbun, only 81 articles can be found by a keyword search in the Kikuzo database. The main reasons for this inconvenience are : 1) pages from the Osaka Asahi Shinbun are not included in a keyword search, 2) the keywords designated are inconsistent and incomplete especially with articles regarding music, and 3) radio broadcasting announcements are excluded from keyword searches. The contents of articles on Ogura are mainly announcements and reports of her public performances with some reviews. Her personal affairs, such as homecoming, empolyment, decoration, moving, and also sicknesses,were reported. There are three interview reports on her, and eight of her nine performances for radio broadcasting were announced with photos. In January 1917, Ogura was highlighted in the 'Spring of Life, Star series of Today' as the third person following Yuriko Nakajo and Ryunosuke Akutagawa, followed by a young Kabuki star, an actress, and others. Two lists of articles on Ogura in the Asahi Shinbun, one according to search fields and the other to years, as well as an index of her articles were made for further concordance. Ogura was reported on frequently from her homecoming in 1916 to 1923, the year of the Great Kanto Earthquake. Thereafter, articles on Ogura became sporadic but continued until her death in 1944. The number of articles on Ogura in the Osaka Asahi Shinbun from 1919 to 1923 are prominent. It was during this time when Ogura was making contibutions through her performances for women's empowerment supported by the Osaka Asahi Shinbun. The overall picture of the Asahi articles on her makes it clear that Ogura herself was greatly supported, especially during these years. |
