| 内容記述 | Needlework is the most fundamental housekeeping labor of the woman in the early modern and has description which is sewing also in the diary. Domestic manufacture also of the needle indispensable to needlework was carried out in Kyoto. Moreover, needle was imported in large quantities by Nagasaki and Ryukyu from China. When the Meiji period came, needlework came to be taken in by the educational system for a woman's school attendance promotion. In modern needlework, housekeeping labor of a woman also changed a lot by having introduced a new model called a sewing machine. | |||||
