| 内容記述 | 現在の出石町は兵庫県北部の豊岡市の一部であるが、江戸時代においては出石藩の城下町であった。明治時代後半に開業した山陰本線のルートから外れたため、近代的な地方都市へと発展しなかった。しかし、古い町並みが残された結果、風情のある「但馬の小京都」として高く評価されるようになった。1960年代後半から出石町の住民たちによって出石城の「隅櫓（すみやぐら）」が再建されたり町並みが整備されたりするなど、いわゆる観光まちづくりが進められた。1990年代中ごろには、1年間に約100万人の観光客が出石の小さな城下町を訪れた。さらに、2008年には近畿最古の芝居小屋の永楽館が復原され、それ以来、「永楽館歌舞伎」が秋の恒例行事として続けられている。本論文では、歴史社会学とエートス論の視点から、出石町のまちづくりと永楽館に関する多様な郷土資料を分析し論述してみる。 | |||||||||||

| 内容記述 | Izushi-cho, which is now part of the city of Toyooka in northern Hyogo, was the castle town of the Izushi Clan in the Edo period. The Izushi district was not included in the route of the San-in Main Line that was opened in the late Meiji period, and did not develop into a modern local city. However, as the historical townscape has been well preserved in Izushi castle town, it is highly regarded as a tasteful "little Kyoto in Tajima". From the 1960s, the inhabitants of Izushi-cho reconstructed "Sumiyagura"of the ruined Izushi Castle and improved the historical townscape; this has been called tourism-based community development. In the mid-1990s, about one million people per year visited the small castle town in Izushi. In addition, Izushi Eirakukan, which is the oldest make-shift playhouse (Shibaigoya)in the Kinki region, was renovated in 2008, and since then the "Eirakukan Kabuki" event has been held each autumn. This paper analyzes and discusses various local materials on town development (machizukuri) related to Izushi-cho and the Eirakukan from the perspective of the historical sociology paradigm and the theory of ethos. | |||||||||||
