| 内容記述 | 本稿は、朝鮮総督府の機関紙『京城日報』の調査によって、永井郁子（1893〜1983）の6度に及ぶ朝鮮楽旅の全体像を明らかにすることを目的とする。調査の結果、41点の記事（1928〜1932）が見出され、永井の朝鮮楽旅は『京城日報』 によって口火が切られ、その後、民間新聞の『釜山日報』や『朝鮮新聞』に引き継がれていったことが判明した。特に第一回（1928年）と第六回（1932年）については、『京城日報』が強力に梃入れしたことが明らかとなった。これらの記事から42件の独唱会の存在が知られ、それらはあくまで部分的なものではあったが、演奏会の曲目や観客の反応等が分かるものも含まれている。 演奏曲目については、第一回の朝鮮楽旅が行なわれた1928年はシューベルトの没後100年を記念する年であり、シューベルトを集中的に取り上げる方向でプログラム変更がなされた。第一回（1928年）と第二回（1930年）のプログラムでは、初めに「泰西名曲（ベートーヴェンやシューベルト）の邦語訳詞歌唱」、次に「各国民謡九曲」ないしは「各国名曲九種」（日満露独英米仏伊拉）、最後に「新日本音楽」（宮城道雄作曲による新箏曲、ないし永井郁子考案の浄瑠璃歌謡曲）を置くという組み立てであったが、第六回（1932年）になると、「泰西名曲の邦語訳詞歌唱」が姿を消して、代わりに「新日本歌謡曲」として邦人作曲家の作品がまとまって取り上げられ、歌うに値する邦人作曲家の歌が出てきたという判断が永井の側にあったと理解される。 エヴリヌ・ピエイエが『女流音楽家の誕生』（1992/1995）で論じたように、輝かしい活躍をした女流音楽家たちの多くが忘却の淵に沈められている。日本歌曲の黎明期に貢献した永井郁子の事績を掘り起こし、しかるべき再評価に繋げるべく、問題の解明を続けて行きたい。 |

| 内容記述 | This paper aims to clarify the six recital tours to Colonial Korea by the Japanese soprano singer, NAGAI Ikuko（1893-1983）by examination of the Korea Governor’s Office newspaper, Keijo Nippo. As the result, forty one articles have been found from 1928 to 1932, and it became clear that her recital tours to Colonial Korea were supported strongly by the Keijo Nippo, especially in 1928 and 1932, followed by another private newspapers as the Fuzan Nippo or Chosen Shimbun. Forty two recitals of her were reported by these articles, although they are apparently only partial, in some of them containing the details of the programs and the reaction of her audiences. In her first tour in 1928, for commemorating the 100th anniversary of Franz Schubert’s death, her program was partly changed to focus on him. In the 1st (1928) and 2nd (1930) tours, her programs were divided into three parts, that is, 1) "famous European songs (Beethoven, Schubert et al.) translated into Japanese" , 2) "selected songs of nine countries" (Japan, Manchuria, Russia, Germany, America, England, Italy, France and another one), and 3) "new Japanese songs with Japanese traditional instruments (Koto or Shamisen, composed by MIYAGI Michio et al.)" . In the 6th tour (1932), the "famous European songs translated into Japanese" section disappeared, and instead, eight Japanese songs composed by Japanese composers were sung by her as "new Japanese art songs" . It means that she judged these songs worth to be sung, after searching for such songs for many years. As Evelyne Pieiller has argued in her Musique Maestra (1992), many female musicians with splendid activities have been totally forgotten in music history, and are waiting for their proper reevaluation. Nagai is one such example. |
